At LIFT, we offer individual therapy for children, teens, and adults who are looking for a safe, supportive place to grow, heal, and work toward meaningful change. We understand that beginning therapy can feel like a big step, and our goal is to make that experience as comfortable and empowering as possible.
Our therapists take a non-judgmental, collaborative approach, meaning we work alongside you. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, stress, family challenges, identity questions, grief, or day-to-day overwhelm, we meet you exactly where you are. Your goals guide the process, and together we build a plan that fits your needs, pace, and strengths.

What to Expect in Individual Therapy
Individual therapy at LIFT is designed to be a welcoming, supportive space. Early sessions often focus on getting to know you: your history, your current concerns, and what you want life to feel like going forward. Over time, sessions may include learning coping skills, exploring patterns, processing emotions, practicing communication, or developing new ways of responding to challenges.
For children and teens, we tailor sessions to be age-appropriate and engaging. This may include play-based interventions, activities, skills practice, or space to talk openly about what’s going on in their world.
For adults, therapy can be a blend of insight, problem-solving, emotional processing, and practical tools that support everyday life.
No matter your age or background, we’re here to help you feel heard, supported, and understood. Individual therapy is a space to explore, grow, and move toward the life you want, with a clinician who is fully invested in helping you get there.
